Ridge Country Housing provides affordable housing solutions for low to moderate income Seniors and Families throughout the County of Warner. Established by Ministerial order in 1995 Ridge Country Housing runs via revenue obtained from 3 main sources; Rental Revenue, Municipal Government Funding (via Requisitions), and Provincial Government Funding (via Grants).

Headed by the Chief Administrative Officer, Ridge Country Housing has over 30 employees that provide Management Support, Activities, Housekeeping, Dietary and Maintenance to the Residents and Tenants at various facilities across the County. The organization is overseen by a Board of Directors comprised of Municipal representatives from the Town of Milk River, Town of Raymond, Village of Stirling, Village of Warner, Village of Coutts and the County of Warner.

Ridge Country Housing offers three types of Housing Programs

  • Senior Lodge Program – providing Seniors over 65 with Housing, meals, housekeeping/maintenance services and activities and entertainment.
  • Senior Self-Contained Program – affordable Housing for individuals over the age of 55.
  • Family Housing – affordable Housing dedicated to low income families or single parents with children.
