Communications, Bylaw Enforcement, Animal Licensing
As Council places a great emphasis on good communications with
our partners and ratepayers, the Administration is engaged in a number
of
programs. This includes municipal industry relations,
intergovernmental relations, media relations, the Town’s monthly
newsletter, and an open dialogue with our citizens.
The Town of Milk River also contracts with a Bylaw Enforcement Officer to ensure that the policies and bylaws of the municipality are upheld. The Officer patrols the community each week, investigating animal complaints, unsightly premises complaints, and various other municipal concerns. Fines will be issued for non-compliance in certain cases.
The Town of Milk River also requires that pet owners purchase animal
licenses for all dogs and cats. These licenses ensure that the
ownership of an animal can be determined, and that the safety of the
animal is ensured.

|---|---|---|
| Unneutered/Unspayed | Neutered/Spayed | |
